Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Job AQ (by TalentQuill) collects and how we handle it. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the assessment, we don't sell your data, and we follow the GDPR and Singapore's PDPA.

1. What we collect

We only collect what's needed to run the assessment and save your report:

• Your email - to save your report and send your sign-in link.
• Your role and workplace context (industry, seniority, and similar) - to tailor and score the assessment.
• Your assessment and survey answers, and the scores we compute from them.
• Basic usage and device data - which steps you reach, whether a take was completed, your IP address, and your browser type - to understand how the assessment is used and to prevent abuse (see §3).

We don't collect sensitive data or payment details, and we never sell your data. We store your answers, scores, and usage data under our legitimate interest - not tied to your identity unless you sign in. When you sign in, we process your email and link the report to your account with your consent(withdrawable anytime). You can object, or ask us to delete your data, at any time (§4).

2. Where it's stored, and for how long

Data is stored with Supabase in Singapore, encrypted in transit and at rest. We save your answers and scores when you complete a take, whether or not you sign in (unsigned records aren't linked to you), plus in-progress drafts so a take isn't lost. It's kept 24 months, then deleted - sooner on request. For EU/EEA visitors, transfer to Singapore is covered by standard contractual clauses with our hosting provider.

3. Cookies, analytics, and usage logging

We use your browser's local storage to remember your progress (not a cookie). We use Google Analytics to measure site usage: until you accept the banner it stays cookie-free; accepting enables its cookies. You can decline or change your mind anytime.

Separately, we keep a minimal first-party usage log (steps reached, whether a take was completed, your IP address, and browser type) to understand usage and prevent abuse, under our legitimate interest and independent of the analytics choice above. You can object anytime (§4).

4. Your rights

At any time, you can ask us to:

• see the personal data we hold about you;
• correct it, or delete it;
• send you a copy in a machine-readable format (JSON);
• or withdraw your consent.
